Histone variants & genome organisation

Our research aims to understand how eukaryotic genomes are organised by chromosomal proteins, with a particular focus on the histone variant H2A.Z.

Experimental approaches

We use a combination of whole-genome approaches and molecular techniques to study histones in budding yeast and mammalian cells. This combination of technologies allows us to gain information about global chromosome organisation and the molecular details of histone biology.
